Arburg pressure issue
We have an Arburg Allrounder 570A 175 ton hybrid (electric / Hydraulic). Injection pressure was not reading what it normally was. Replaced the force sensor, boards and modules.
Currently it will read about 45 BAR even before the pump motor is turned on, Their service department seems to be perplexed by this. I am looking for any suggestions.

Re: Arburg pressure issue
Find the test port and make sure you don't actually have that pressure on the pressure transducer, if you do maybe a stuck valve or a clogged orifice not letting the pressure drain back to the tank. Also check the transducer wiring, disconnect from both ends and ohm it out?

Agree with ijchan above. Can you put an analog gage and check?

Re: Arburg pressure issue
Actually the injection unit is run by a servo, so no hydraulic to the injection unit, just the screw rotation gear box. Are you thinking a possible short in the line on the Transducer? Or should i be reading nothing when it is not running. At this point I am not sure the transducer (which is new) is accurate.
